Cardian Matsu ‘Gaze’ is characterized by what feels like a never-ending, imposingly deep drone that shifts from one sound to the next. It fades back when the melodies take their turn but returns to the forefront as these times and tones pass, changing piece by piece underneath and returning anew, yet the same deep down.

It becomes comforting in that sense, deeply ambient for long stretches before pulling you back in while it changes for the next sprawl, then ending as humbly as it first presented itself. Favorite track: 感情的な実現 (emotional realization).

Jean-Paul DuQuette Yeah, this is pretty great lo-fi vaporwave melancholy (the tags don't lie). Definitely worth a listen. Favorite track: 前 (before).
